The Perfect Go Power! Solar Kit for your RV

Go Power! solar kits are perfect for powering your RV, Camper, or Van conversion. We're here to help choose the right solar kit for your vehicle or boat and answer all your burning questions:

  • How much solar energy do I need?
  • Should I save up for a larger kit or can I upgrade later?
  • How long can I run my appliances and electronics on solar?
  • Can I run my TV, Fridge or Water Pump on solar?
  • Do I need an inverter if I just want to charge my RV/Boat batteries?

Solar power eliminates expenses such as spending on fuel for your generator, or paying for plug-in fees at campgrounds. Solar panels will generate free electricity for decades to come, require very little maintenance, and reduce environmental impact.

With a full solar kit you can charge your batteries, and use that power for AC-powered devices and appliances like your TV, microwave, fridge, and laptop.

The initial cost of a solar power system is very low compared to the considerable savings for years to come.

If you have any questions or need help choosing or installing a solar power system, our friendly support team is here to help.

The 340W Solar Elite kit is the second-largest complete solar energy system from Go Power! This off-grid RV solar system includes everything you need to charge your RV batteries and run your appliances.

Complete Go Power!
RV Solar Kits

The Solar Extreme and Solar Elite Go Power! kits are an excellent fit for most use cases on the go. These All-in-one solar systems provide plenty of power for your devices and appliances, are easy to install, and can be upgraded later.

Once your batteries are charged, the inverter charger allows you to use that power for the AC-powered devices and appliances in your RV, like your TV, microwave, coffee pot, fridge, and laptop.

If you need more power, the Solar Extreme full solar system is for you. With three Overlander 190W solar panels and a massive 3000W inverter charger, this Go Power! solar kit provides all the solar power you’ll need for most use cases.

If you’re looking for a more affordable solar kit the Weekender might be a better fit. If you’ve been using shore power to charge your batteries, then you probably already have a battery charger/AC to DC converter.

The Weekender includes one 170W solar panel, a 30 Amp PWM controller for efficiently managing power output, and a 1500 Watt pure sine wave DC to AC inverter. The solar panel will quickly and reliably charge your batteries from the sun. The inverter will convert the DC current from your batteries to AC and use it to directly power your AC appliances.

What does a complete Go Power! kit include?

Solar power systems are becoming increasingly popular, as more people swap out their noisy generators for silent and eco-friendly solar panels. If you’ve recently bought an RV, started on a van conversion, or are looking for extra power on a boat, here’s what you need.

The four essential components of a solar power system are the solar panels, solar charge controller, inverter, and the battery bank that you want to charge.

A good inverter charger with a built-in transfer switch will fully manage and maintain your entire power system. It will charge your batteries from the solar panels or using shore power. It will convert your battery’s DC current to AC to power your appliances. Some inverter chargers can also pass through AC current from the grid or generator to directly power your AC devices.

The Overlander 190W is the most popular rigid solar panel from Go Power!, and is the base for many Go Power RV solar kits.

Solar Kits

Solar panels come in a wide variety of types and sizes. Traditional rigid panels, with aluminium frames and tempered glass, are the most popular choice for motorhomes. They’re durable, efficient, and are easy to mount and connect.

Flexible modules are incredibly thin measuring barely 3mm. Flexible panel kits like the GP-FLEX-100 include ideal low-profile, lightweight solar panels for RVs, vans, and marine applications.

Foldable solar panels offer exceptional portability and versatility. Go Power! portable solar kits fold into durable nylon cases for ease of transport and include plug-and-play solar connectors. This makes them ideal for trickle charging your RV.

You can deploy a kit like the GP-PSK-200 and have your batteries charging from the sun in a matter of minutes. The newest addition to the family of Go Power! portable solar kits is the DuraLite Portable Solar Kit Ultra - lightweight portable charging has never been easier.
