In December 2024, President Jamie Hagen placed his confidence and truck in the capable hands of Heatso, Dragonfly Energy— Heatso’s preferred energy system partner of choice—and Michigan MD Alignment to install this no-idle state-of-the-art auxiliary power unit (APU) technology on one of their Mack Anthem trucks.
The installation showcases a sleek, minimally invasive design, housing the entire auxiliary power system including Lithium Iron-Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, chargers, and safety controllers beneath the truck's bunk. This comprehensive approach optimizes space utilization while maintaining driver comfort by keeping all major components inside the cab.
